October 2011 saw the retirement of Alan Pritchard (Nuggett to his friends). Alan was just 12 years old when he first started work at Middle Farm. 53 years on he can look back on a lifetime of farming with a vast range of experience covering all aspects of mixed farming. John Robbins paid tribute to him in the Evesham Journal calling him a real Countryman; quoting his legacy as including the planting of thousands of trees and hedgerows for future generations.
Good wishes to Alan – enjoys those motor bikes!
